Mike and I fell in love with alpacas about 3 years ago when we first saw them and we brought two pregnant females. Isabella and Georgia. Isabelle's cria (or baby) needed bottle feeding and so became incredibly friendly her friend Luna realised that treats were available so copied. They both love cuddles and scratches and so does Luna's cria Neptune. We were advised to follow a system to name the cria that had plenty of names so we chose Greek and Roman gods and goddesses so we never run out of names. We have moved 3 times now to accommodate the alpaca and we now have over 30 with 6 cria due next summer-early autumn.
